File Diff / Compare Tool
Compares two files of any type. Text files (JSON, XML, code, config, plain text) get a real line-by-line diff; anything else falls back to a byte-level comparison showing exactly which byte ranges differ.

When you'd use this
- Checking exactly what changed between two versions of a file
- Comparing a document or config file before and after an edit
- Verifying that two files are actually identical, byte for byte
Both files are compared entirely in your browser using a real Myers diff algorithm (the same algorithm behind most command-line diff tools) for text, or a byte-level comparison for anything else — nothing is uploaded.
