GPG/PGP Key Viewer
Paste an armored OpenPGP key block to see every key it contains (including subkeys) — algorithm, creation date, key ID, fingerprint — and its user IDs.
Nothing here leaves your browser. For secret key files, this tool goes further still: it deliberately never reads the actual secret key material at all — only the leading public-key fields every OpenPGP secret key packet begins with — so full metadata is available without ever touching anything secret.
When you'd use this
- Checking a GPG/PGP key's fingerprint and expiry before trusting it
- Reviewing what identities and email addresses a public key claims
- Inspecting a downloaded key file before importing it into your keyring
Handles the common OpenPGP v4 key packet types (RSA, DSA, ECDSA, EdDSA). Does not verify signatures or check expiry from signature packets.
