SQL Dump Viewer
Reads the CREATE TABLE statements out of a mysqldump or pg_dump SQL file and shows each table’s columns, types, and primary key — without running a database.
When you'd use this
- Previewing a database backup's structure before restoring it
- Checking what tables and data a .sql dump actually contains
- Reviewing a colleague's database export before importing it
Handles both MySQL (mysqldump, backtick-quoted identifiers) and PostgreSQL (pg_dump, schema-qualified names) dump syntax, including primary keys declared inline or via a separate ALTER TABLE statement (pg_dump’s usual style). This is text parsing only — no SQL is executed.
