Font Viewer

Reads a font file's embedded metadata — family, version, designer, license — and renders your own sample text live, in the actual uploaded font.

Why it exists

Checking a font's license or version usually means installing it first — this reads the metadata and shows you the font rendered, without installing anything.

How to use it

Drop a .ttf, .otf, .woff or .woff2 file. Metadata appears immediately; type your own sample text to preview it live in the font.

Good to know

Metadata is read directly for TTF, OTF and WOFF. WOFF2 metadata isn't decoded (it needs Brotli decompression), but the live preview still works for WOFF2 since your browser renders it natively.
