OVA/OVF Viewer

Reads an OVA virtual appliance (or a standalone .ovf descriptor) and shows the VM's name, CPU and memory allocation, networks, and declared disks.

Why it exists

Checking what a virtual appliance actually contains and how it's configured before importing it into a hypervisor.

How to use it

Drop an .ova or .ovf file. VM name, CPU/memory allocation, networks and disk list all appear immediately.

Good to know

Reads only the OVF XML descriptor for metadata — embedded disk image data inside the OVA is never read or extracted, only listed by name and declared size.
