Plist Viewer

Reads an Apple property list — used throughout macOS/iOS for app settings and configuration — in either the XML or binary format, and shows it as an expandable tree.

Why it exists

Binary plists in particular are completely unreadable without a tool — this decodes the format Apple normally requires special software just to open.

How to use it

Drop a .plist file. The format (XML or binary) is detected automatically and shown as an expandable tree.

Good to know

Read-only. Both formats are supported; deeply unusual or corrupted files may not fully parse.
