GPG/PGP Key Viewer

Reads an armored OpenPGP key block and shows every key it contains (including subkeys) — algorithm, creation date, key ID, fingerprint — and its user IDs.

Why it exists

Seeing what's actually in a keyring export or a downloaded public key before importing it.

How to use it

Paste an armored PGP public or private key block. Every key and user ID appears immediately.

Good to know

For secret key files, only the leading public-key fields every OpenPGP secret key packet begins with are ever read — the actual secret key material is never parsed. Doesn't verify signatures or check expiry from signature packets.
